I first fell in love with photography in high school. My junior year, I took my first photography class. We rolled our own film, took the pictures, and then fully developed in black and white. Having such a hands on approach for my first encounter with photography created a deep rooted passion for not only the art-form itself, but the stories those split second shots can tell. It also gave me the opportunity to learn photography relying less on a machine, and more of my own instincts.

After spending years almost 20 years in food service management, I relocated to Fairbanks, Alaska from Denver, Colorado in 2025. Alaska's natural beauty and stunning backdrops provides not only stunning memories, but passionate story-telling of a history sometimes forgotten. It provided the perfect opportunity to dive head first back into my lifelong love of taking pictures.

I specialize in events and family adventure photography. Candid moments are my favorite pictures to take. Those unplanned moments always make the best memories and tell the story better than any posed pictures. My favorite way to take family photos is just watching a family interact naturally, so no studios to be found with me. Just the beauty of the world and memories made with families naturally. I also love working with businesses and nonprofits to help promote events, expand marketing, and show off their specialties through photographs.
